Happy New Year and welcome to 2019's first edition of The Pig Issue. In this edition we start off by looking at the changes to the Red Tractor scheme, specifically the new unannounced inspections. As you may be aware Garth currently offers funded testing for post-weaning diarrhoea, we review what's on offer. We also highlight a request from APHA who are are looking to recruit suitable pig farms for important research into Salmonella control strategies.
Finally, we have a tip on apple juice and Regumate usage, and point you to a survey by SRUC on aggression.
